Bringing calm order
to what families keep.

Bequestra was founded in Bangkok with a straightforward purpose: to help families make sense of their personal records, cherished belongings and stored documents, without pressure and without pretence.

How Bequestra came about

Bequestra grew from a simple observation: that many families in Bangkok hold boxes of papers, drawers of photographs and shelves of documents that have never been properly sorted. Not because people don't care — they care deeply — but because the task feels large, tender and easy to defer.

We started offering document organisation sessions at home, working through folders and envelopes with families who wanted the process to be steady rather than rushed. Over time, that work expanded into educational workshops on recording personal stories, and into detailed archiving projects for families with meaningful collections of heirlooms and old photographs.

Today, Bequestra works with individuals, couples and extended families across Bangkok. Our approach has not changed: we listen carefully, we work at a pace that suits you, and we leave behind something genuinely useful — a system that makes sense and materials you can find when you need them.

We are not lawyers, financial advisers or estate planners. We are document organisers and family archivists, and we are very good at what we do.

How We Work

The principles that guide every project we take on.

Complete Confidentiality

All materials handled are kept strictly private. We do not retain, copy or discuss client documents beyond the scope of the agreed project.

Original Documents Preserved

We never alter, mark or damage originals. Physical documents are returned to you exactly as they were received, or better organised than before.

Two-Stage Review

Each project goes through an internal review before delivery to confirm accuracy of labelling, indexing and any digital work completed.

Scope Agreed in Writing

Before any work begins, we confirm in writing exactly what will be done, at what cost and within what timeframe. No surprises.

Secure Digital Storage

Digital files are kept on encrypted storage during the project and transferred to you securely. We do not retain copies after project completion.

Regular Progress Updates

For longer projects, we provide brief written updates so you always know where things stand. You are free to ask questions at any point.

Personal records and family memory in Bangkok

Bangkok families often hold accumulated papers spanning several decades — property records, school certificates, correspondence, photographs and the general residue of a well-lived life. Without a working system, these materials become difficult to locate and harder still to pass on meaningfully.

Bequestra addresses this in three practical ways: by sorting and indexing existing documents, by facilitating reflective workshops where families can record their own stories and values, and by creating lasting digital archives of meaningful objects and photographs.

Each service is designed to be used independently or in sequence. Many families begin with a Records Tidy-Up and later return for a Memory & Heirloom Archive project. Others start with a Legacy Notes Workshop and find that the process naturally surfaces the need for better organisation.

What makes Bequestra distinct is not any proprietary system but the approach: unhurried, attentive and entirely free of advice that requires a professional licence. We organise, we archive, we educate. The results belong entirely to you.
